General Guidelines

General tips before requesting:
Decide on what you want drawn before messaging. Even narrowing down to the character and a pose is helpful. This also includes the type of illustration you want.
Have an image reference or word description of the character. Any image provided needs to be 500x500 minimum. In the situation of a collage, make sure images within it meet the minimum size. Better reference images = Better end Product.
Have an open mind to artist interpretation. Hopefully you sought out my commissions because you admire my work and style. Feel free to browse my art for examples.
• Breaking these guidelines is NOT grounds for me, the artist, to refuse a commission. These are helpful tips to smooth out the process.

Preferred Content
• Danmei or BL characters
• Gacha or MMO characters
• OCs (including Dungeons & Dragons characters)
• Additionally open to non-human characters such as monsters, animals, Pokemon, furries, etc.

Limited Content
Subjects I either prefer to avoid or won't draw
• Mecha or other heavy machinery
• Extreme fetishes or certain Dead Dove content (Ask)
• Hateful subjects such as racism, transphobia, homophobia, etc.

Regarding NSFW Content
I'm willing to draw lewd or nude content but require you be an adult of 18 years or older to request it. Adult content is subject to my personal preferences and boundaries.

Personal Note
Comms are a secondary income for me and I'm using them as a means to support my fandom spending. Please feel no obligation to support me financially although I do appreciate it!

Terms of Service

This is a non-legally binding agreement between me (the artist) and you (the commissioner). This is still a social contract in that if the commissioner violates any part of these terms then the artist has the right to cease all work with that individual. Submitting a commission request assumes the commissioner has read and agreed to the following terms.
Updated as of June 6, 2024

Communication
• The commissioner will contact the artist through social media direct messages or email.
• Contact through email is required for final delivery of the artwork and requesting payment (more on this later). However, it’s not required for check-ins, updates or feedback.
It’s expected that the commissioner upholds a respective manner with the artist within messages. Mean, rude, or ungrateful messages (or any other negative attitude) from the commissioner allows the artist to cease work with them.

Payment
• Payments are in USD and made through Paypal. The artist will send a pay request once both parties agree to the artwork details.
• Currency conversion costs are the commissioner’s responsibility. The final amount paid should equal the agreed upon price or else the artwork isn’t considered paid for.
• Payments are split 50/50: First payment is due after the artwork details are finalized then second payment is is due before the artwork is completed and delivered. Any drafts or sketches won’t begin until after the first payment and the final version of the artwork won’t be delivered until full payment is complete.
• All in-progress versions of the artwork will be watermarked. After fully paid, the commissioner will receive a higher quality version with the artist’s signature.

Revisions
• Revisions are considered major changes to the artwork's composition that require repeating previous steps (i.e. redoing the sketch or line work). They are NOT corrections or feedback.
Two (2) revisions are allowed for free, but any additional ones will cost extra depending on the type of artwork. The price of revisions will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties before the first payment is made.
• These fees are added onto the final payment of the arkwork.

Refunds
Negligence on the artist's part to maintain communication by periodic updates on the artwork's progress is grounds for a full refund. In case of an emergency or other event that would delay the artwork, the commissioner may request a partial refund.
In the situation that the commissioner wishes to cancel, a partial refund is offered so that the artist is still compensated for their time and work.
• The amount returned depends on the final price of the artwork and will be discussed and agreed upon before first payment. Cancellation before any payment does not require any compensation to the artist.
• Any progress on the artwork will be delivered in the event of a refund.
• If the artist cancels the commission due to violation to these terms, no refund is guaranteed to the commissioner.

Work Progress
The following is the general workflow for an artwork:
Concept for the artwork is confirmed. The artwork's subject, style, and pricing is agreed upon by both parties.
First payment is due. This step MUST be completed before proceeding.
The artist begins on the draft sketch. This will be sent out for feedback and approval by the commissioner. If there is a correction or revision, please inform the artist. Multiple instances of feedback may be requested from either party until the artwork is complete.
Second payment is due. Again, this step MUST be completed before proceeding.
The final artwork is completed and submitted to the commissioner. It will also be posted on the artist’s social media accounts.

Image Copyright
• The artist retains all rights to the artwork. The commissioner is allowed to share it as long as they credit the artwork to the artist with a link to their Twitter or Tumblr account.
Transformative works of the artwork are allowed (such as cropping for a profile picture, personal prints, memes, etc) but the commissioner is not to purposefully remove any watermark or signature. Again in all instances, credit must be given to the artist.
• The artwork is not to be used for merchandise, promotional use (such as advertisements), or commercial goods and services. Meaning it cannot be on something that's being sold or withheld behind a paywall.
• The artwork is not allowed to be used in any blockchain-related technology.
• The artwork is not allowed to be fed into any machine learning program.
